Chairman of the Knesset Interior Committee MK (Likud) David Amsellem was furious on Sunday morning 4 Kislev when the government clerks expected to attend a session of his committee to address the damage to homes from recent fires did not bother to attend.

Amsellem said “This is outright chutzpah and insolence that people who have lost their homes and all of their possessions come here seeking hope and government clerks do not bother to show up. He apologized to residents and closed the meeting and cancelled the planned meeting by his committee set for Monday, 5 Kislev to discuss the Regulation Law saying “let them look for me”.
