Security Cabinet Approves The Purchase Of 17 Additional F-35 Fighter Planes


1The Security Cabinet on Sunday, 26 Cheshvan approved the purchase of seventeen additional US-built F-35 state-of-the-art fighter planes. The deal will be funded by US aid given to Israel for defense. This will bring Israel’s F-35 fleet to 50 fighter planes.

To date, Israeli pilots have trained on the planes using simulators. The first two are expected to arrive in two weeks, and they will be flown to Israel by US pilots. Then Israeli pilots will have their chance to become acquainted with the aircraft.

It is also reported that one of the new planes will be used for testing, permitting the air force to test new weapons systems the advanced planet.

  1. May I suggest to the Israeli Air force, b’vah’chah’shah,
    make sure if a pilot lands in such a new plane and the power system or equivalently the software goes astray verify the pilot can MANUALLY MANUALLY removed himself from the plane and the Plexiglas canopy !!

    I learned a American pilot landed in a Virginia Air Base and a power glitch occurred to the plane. After numerous attempts to get the pilot free a BLOW TORCH WAS USED TO FREE THE POOR PILOT!!!
