[WEBCAST IN EXTENDED ARTICLE]
This year, for the twelfth year on YWN, tens of thousands of viewers from around the world will be able to view the International Kinus HaShluchim banquet live on a broadcast made possible by the organizers of the Kinus. The live streaming webcast begins at 6:00PM on Sunday, Nov. 27, and is taking place at the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal.
The highlight is always the traditional roll call of countries and regions which is followed by spirited dancing.
As we have for more than a decade, YWN will be bringing you thousands of photos, as well as extensive video and photo coverage from the massive event.
5,600 Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic rabbinic emissaries and communal leaders from 90 countries, hailing from as far away as Bangkok and Kenya are gathering for the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries. The event is considered the largest Jewish gathering in North America. This year’s conference carries an added significance as the North American Jewish community marks 75 years since the Lubavitcher Rebbe—Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson ZATZAL and Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka A”H, arrived on U.S. shores from war-torn Europe in 1941, setting into motion the world’s most vigorous Jewish outreach program in history.
