US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro accompanied by embassy staff members donated blood to Magen David Adom.

On Tuesday, 21 Cheshvan, the ambassador arranged for the blood drive in the embassy, which yielded 40 units. This was not the first-time Ambassador Shapiro has given blood, as he generally does so twice annually, aware of the importance of contributing.

The ambassador showed great interest in the blood donating process as compared to the United States, asking about the blood inventory, how many units are given daily and annually.
