Israel’s High Court of Justice undoubtedly brings much nachas to the PA (Palestinian Authority) and Israel’s enemies elsewhere as it continues ordering the destruction of illegal homes, communities and in this case, memorials to fallen IDF soldiers.
The IDF Civil Administration nevertheless plans to move ahead with the destruction of a memorial for heroes, fallen IDF soldiers. The memorial is situated in the Netiv Avos neighborhood of Yishuv Elazar in Gush Etzion in memory of Lt. Ezra Asher HY”D and Lt.-Colonel Immanuel Morano HY”D. They both fell in the line of duty during the Second Lebanon War.
While the name of commander Morano is well known in Israel, his photo is never shown for fear of identifying others who served with him as they were involved in extremely sensitive missions involving classified matters.
Ironically, as the Civil Administration has learned of ongoing efforts via different channels to prevent the demolition of the memorials, the agency is working to speed up the destruction, to be carried out in the coming days while the deadline set by the court is the end of the Gregorian year.
As seen in the photo, Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan visited the memorial area recently, promising he would do what he could to prevent the destruction.

The Zionists allow the memories of their heroes to be erased while allowing Arabs impunity.
