The Jerusalem Committee to Memorialize Terror Victims has decided to construct a memorial in the so-called Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City in memory of terror victims Aaron Benita (Bennett) HY”D and Nechemia Lavie HY”D.

Rav Nechemia Lavie was murdered by terrorists as he ran to the assistance of Aaron Bennett, who was attacked by a terrorist armed with a knife on Chaggai Street near Shar Shechem. The decision to place a memorial was due to the initiative of Councilman Aryeh King.
