The emergency services in the northern NY region have been put on snow alert.

The forecast shows a snow system that will affect the area covering the northern part of the I87 which will bring snow from late Saturday night till Monday.

It is important to stress to have good tires that can handle the snow, extra windshield fluid, good wipers, snow brush, flashlights, and keep a good gas level some stations might be closed.
