The coalition has made good on agreements with the chareidim as an additional NIS 48 has been allocated for yeshivos. The allocation is reported to be a return of the funding that existed in the past, funding that was cut during the previous administration by the coalition of Likud, Yesh Atid and Bayit Yehudi. The chareidim were in the opposition during that coalition.
The chareidim realized shortly before closing the budget that funding that was cut for bnei yeshivos who come from abroad, like those in Mir Yeshiva, was not included. That means the budget was split into more pieces. Having realized the missing allocation, funding for talmidim from abroad was added and this now permits everything to receive what they did prior to the cuts of the previous administration.
