The call came in to the MDA dispatcher at 11:24 on Monday 13 Cheshvan for a serious motor vehicle accident on Route 90 in the direction of Beit Shean, a head-on collision. MDA EMTs and paramedics were dispatched and found five victims upon their arrival on the scene.

After the initial assessment personnel on the scene reported a 25-year-old male in serious condition with a head injury, two persons in moderate condition including a 30-year-old female with abdominal injuries and a 1-year-old girl. Two others, both in their 40s, were listed in light condition.

The male with the head injury was sedated, intubated and transported by chopper to the trauma center of Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
