In line with the city’s plan, Betar Illit’s E-government digital station has gone operational, another step intended to assist residents in dealing with local government. Local officials took part in the launch as well as MK Uri Maklev, who chairs the Knesset Science & Technology Committee. The E-government unit is in City Hall and accessible by city residents.

The digital station is one of many that operate in chareidi areas around the country, Maklev explained, explaining the E-government permits residents to perform a variety of functions without having to visit a government office or stand in line.
