There was a ceremony marking the unveiling of the matzeivah for the Yassam policeman murdered in an Arab terror attack in Yerushalayim a month ago.
Yassam commando Yosef Kirma HY”D, 29, was assigned to the Jerusalem district and he was shot dead by a lone Arab terrorist who fired as he drove his vehicle in the Sheik Jarah area of the capital on October 9, 2016.
Yosef was transported to Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital in critical condition but was eventually pronounced dead of his massive wounds.
Yosef joined the police force four years ago. He is survived by his wife Noi, his parents and two siblings.
Taking part in the shloshim event were family members, Jerusalem Police Chief Yoram Halevy, Police Human Resources Chief Gila Gaziel, along with other commanders, members of the force and friends.
