A serious crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway has left two victims in critical condition, late Thursday night.
Sources tell YWN that a minivan carrying three members of the “Tantzers” had just finished dancing at a wedding in a Monsey hall and were heading back to Boro Park. Just before midnight, in the area of Exit 11, a deer ran in front of their vehicle, causing the driver to swerve to avoid hitting it. Unfortunately, the driver lost control and the vehicle slammed into a tree.
Rockland Hatzolah, Spring Hill EMS, NY State Police as well as the local Fire Department responded to the scene after receiving numerous calls reporting the crash.
One victim was rushed to Nyack Hospital in extremely critical condition, and had an amputated arm R”L. He was later transported by Hatzolah to Westchester Trauma Center.
A second victim was transported in critical condition to Westchester Trauma Center, where he was placed on a respirator.
The driver was transported to Nyack Hospital and was in stable condition.
Please say tehillim for Yeshayahu Dov Yehuda ben Shoshana. Additional names for Tehillim will be added as they become available to YWN.
