Chairman of the Knesset Eretz Yisrael lobby MK (Likud) Yoav Kisch seems to feel that battle to save Amona will not succeed and there is nothing to be done at this stage to prevent the eviction of the residents for a second time.

The nation’s High Court of Justice has ruled that Amona must be destroyed no later than the end of 2016.

Efforts are ongoing to introduce legislation that will circumvent the court’s decision but Kisch feels this may be a case of too little too late. He feels the last hope might be the request filed with the court this week by the state seeking an additional extension of the destruction deadline in the hope of using that time to find a solution.
