The Histadrut national labor federation has recently announced if ongoing talks with the treasury fail, Egged will launch a nationwide strike of its workers on November 7, 2016.

Egged spokesman Ron Ratner announced on Tuesday, 30 Tishrei, that the Histadrut has arranged for a large workers’ protest to take place on Wednesday in the capital and the morning protest is likely to result in traffic snarls.

One can expect delays in services in the capital as well and while no details are being provided, commuters are advised to check the Egged website or phone *2800 for additional information.
