The prosecution in the trial of Sgt. Elor Azariya has objected to a defense counsel motion to permit releasing the soldier to house arrest. Elor has been compelled to remain on a base for months as the trial moves ahead.
In his response, the prosecution said “It has been clearly shown that the defendant has changed versions, contradicted himself in his behavior in the field before shooting…there clearly were lies and tales of deceit following the shooting…”
The court must decide on the motion and may rule to release Elor to house arrest despite the objections from the prosecution.
On Tuesday 1 Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, the last session in the trial in the Jaffa Military Court was held before the court begins hearing summations in the case. It is expected that the trial will end in November 2016 and if he is found guilty, sentencing it likely to take place in the beginning of December.

I think the lies and changing of the circumstances came mostly from the government’s version and witnesses.
Enough for this poor soldier; send him home to rest.
What a terrible ordeal he has gone through.
If WikiLeaks would disclose some juicy stuff from the Israeli government and judicial court, it’ll be another Hillary Rotten Clinton.
