Many were on hand on motzei Simchas Torah in Eretz Yisrael for the traditional ‘Ne’elas HaYomtov’ tisch in Ponevezh, and event that has been taking place for decades since the Ponevizh Rav ZT”L  instituted it.

Heading the event was HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita along with Ponevezh Roshei Yeshiva HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Berel Povarsky Shlita.

The event over the year has become one attended by many avreichim in Bnei Brak in keeping with the Ponevezh tradition.

Some of the other notables present were MK Yaakov Asher, Bnei Brak Mayor Chanoch Zeibert, Deputy Mayors Avraham Rubinstein and Menachem Shapira.
