A closure has been ordered on PA (Palestinian Authority) areas throughout Yehuda and Shomron as well as Gaza crossings to Israel.

According to the IDF spokesman unit, the closure will begin on Tuesday, 9 Tishrei at 00:01 (Monday night to Tuesday).

This means PA and Gaza residents may travel freely in their areas, but will not be permitted to enter southern Israel from Gaza or via any of the so-called Green Line crossings from Yehuda and Shomron. As always, exceptions are made in cases of humanitarian need.

The closure will be lifted on Motzei Yom Kippur at 23:59 if the security evaluation at that time permits doing so.
