As Am Yisrael is preparing for Yom Kippur and Sukkos, an expensive time of year, avreichim have been informed their monthly payments will be cut NIS 100 until the end of the Gregorian year. It is reported the reason is simply technical, the increase in the number of avreichim and the reality the budget allocated months ago will not increase, so everyone has to receive less.

According to the Kikar Shabbos News report, an evaluation of the avreichim has revealed there are more than was expected so the budgetary pie must be divided among additional people.

It is explained that it is not a matter of blame, but B”H, the number of avreichim has grown and the budget is fixed, hence less funding per avreich until a new budget is allocated.
