United Hatzalah officials manning the medical clinic in Uman near the tziyun of Rav Nachman report that a 60-year-old male was injured moderately over Shabbos. It is reported the man fell and required a CT scan as a result of his injuries and has internal cranial bleeding.
After consulting with neurologists, the man was admitted to an intensive care unit in Boris Hospital in Kiev for continued care.
United Hatzalah also reports that an 18-year-old male slipped and fell near the tziyun of Rav Nachman ZT”L, and sustained light-to-moderate injuries. The injured male required complicated suturing for a very deep cut, internal and external stiches, that were done by one of the physicians manning the United Hatzalah Uman clinic.
Clinic officials report dozens of persons were treated over Shabbos, most light injures from falls resulting in soft tissue trauma as well as a number of cases of respiratory distress. Since the clinic opened last week ahead of Rosh Hashanah, 521 people were treated as of immediately after Shabbos including two people who were flown to Israel for continued medical care.
