Israel’s emergency and security organizations are finalizing preparations for Rosh Hashanah, and counted among them is Magen David Adom (MDA).

Dispatch stations are readied as are personnel, including an increased number of on-call personnel and the task of assigning EMS personnel and vehicles to the countless number of public events during Tishrei, especially in Yerushalayim were so many will be visiting during Tishrei.

Pre-Yomim Tovim training exercises were held involving vehicular command centers in major cities including Afula, to respond to any major event in the Jordan Valley/Gilboa regions as well as in Netanya for that area and the same holds true in other major cities around the country.

Special emphasis is given to the Old City in Jerusalem as well as the Kosel, which enjoys hundreds of thousands of visitors over Yomtov.
