Tragedy stuck the Petach Tikvah community on Monday, with the sudden Petira of a 5-month-old girl who was at a day care.

According to United Hatzalah, they were summoned to a Petach Tikvah daycare facility for a five-month-old girl who became unconscious. EMTs began CPR and then paramedics implemented advanced life support. Magen David Adom paramedics transported the infant to Schneider Medical Center in the city where the child was unfortunately pronounced dead.

ZAKA reported later in the day that after examining the baby’s body, police have waved a request for an autopsy clearing the body for kvura.

Later in the morning United Hatzalah was unfortunately summoned to another call involving a three-day-old infant, in Modi’in. Paramedics and EMTs responded and began CPR. The infant was transported in critical condition.
