A child is lucky to be alive after being struck by a truck in Boro Park, Thursday morning.
The incident happened on 15 Avenue and 43 Street. Despite having not been wearing a helmet, Bichasdei Hashem, the child suffered minor injuries.
As can be seen in the attached photo, the child was nearly pinned under the trucks tires.
On Wednesday morning YWN published an urgent Tehillim request for a young child who was in critical condition after he was struck while riding his bike to Yeshiva.
That child WAS wearing a helmet which was shattered into pieces from the impact. (See photo below)

Perhaps just a bit insensitive to Moshe Yehudah’s parents let alone the implication that helmets are worthless.
Your headline says “Not wearing helmet” while the story says he was wearing a helmet and has a picture of it.
Moderators Note: No we didn’t. Read it again.

By the way in Passaic County where I reside the yeshiva boys never ever dare to ride their bicycles at cross walks. At Brook its nice to see a whole bunch of them getting off and crossing their bicycles. It kinda resembles a long snake of wheels merrily crossing the street. They have some things to fix too. I wish they wouldn’t come barreling down Passaic Ave at I dunno, say anywhere between 10-15 mph when I’m walking to the train. They should use a horn or other device to alert pedestrians.
The boy hurt Wednesday morning needs much rachmai shmayim please continue to daven for Moshe Yehuda bn Rachel Miriam
