One must commend Arab MKs for their honesty for being politically correct is less important for them, as they prefer to say what they really feel, something seen less commonly among Jewish elected officials.
Following reports that former President Shimon Peres suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, Arab MK Basel Ghattas has some harsh words for Peres, who remains in serious/stable condition in Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer Hospital. Ghattas used Facebook to express his anger and disdain for the former president.
He refers to Peres as “a pillar of the Zionist project, expansionist colonialism”. In describing Israel ninth president Ghattas used words like “cruel and extreme”, accusing Peres of doing the most serious damage to his people, the Palestinians.
Refusing to wish him a recovery, Ghattas added “He is a demagogue responsible for war crimes against us. We will not participate in the festival of sadness and sorrow…”
He stated that despite it all, Peres earned a Nobel Peace Prize and after he is dead, he will be remembered for being a “tyrannical personality who was responsible for war crimes against us”.
He added “Peres is covered from head to toe with blood” rejecting any effort to elicit as statement of sadness or concern for Mr. Peres’ current condition.

When Jewish leaders say what they really think, the world jumps down their throat. And that creep rasha arafat also received the “peace” prize. Peres does have a lot to answer for, but not because the arabs, but because of the damage he inflicted on the Jewish people. My heart is not crying for the arab murderers.
