Donald Trump says he hopes rival Hillary Clinton “gets well soon” after her abrupt departure from a 9/11 anniversary ceremony following a health episode.
Trump said in an interview on “Fox and Friends” Monday morning that: “Something’s going on, but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail and we’ll be seeing her at the debate.” The first of three debates is scheduled for Sept. 26.
Video captured of the Democratic nominee shows her staggering and slumping forward as she was helped into a van leaving the Sunday ceremony in Manhattan.
Her doctor says she is fighting a case of pneumonia.

Re comment no. 1: So have you ruled out the possibility that Donald was not just being a civilized human being and wishing an ill acquaintance well, that in fact his kind-sounding wishes are just a campaign ploy? Me, too.
i find something here to be very strange. whenever donald trump speaks, the media analyze and take apart every word, most of the time to his detriment. but hardly ever do i see the same scrutiny given to “teflon hillary”. i’m not saying that i love trump, but, hey, let’s be fair and treat each candidate equally. why does the media have such a love affair for clinton? it boggles my mind!
Kaine would be a much stronger candidate than Clinton, since he is a credible moderate (Clintons are known for changing their views to match their latest focus group and polling), not to mention sympathy if Clinton expired during the campaign. Not to mention the fact that Kaine has a much more honorable record than Clinton (no “screw ups” in foreign affairs, no record of becoming filthy rich while employed by the taxpayers, etc.). Trump’s best (only) chance to become president is to run against Hilary.
RE comment #2. At times Donald Trump was more to the business/tough side while trying to gain his position in the White House and to take back the respect for America. Therefore I wasn’t expecting a kind response especially when we’re so close to the big day.
It’s certainly much easier to recover from a physical ailment than a mental one!
