Former President Shimon Peres underwent local anesthesia at Tel Hashomer Hospital on Monday, 2 Elul to permit inserting a pacemaker. The former President, 93, is reportedly in good health and is expected to be released on Tuesday.
It is explained that Mr. Peres’ physicians have suggested the pacemakers to avoid cardiac arrhythmias and thereby facilitate Mr. Peres continuing with his daily routine.
