Hundreds of Jerusalem police, border police, mounted units, and many volunteers took part in a search Wednesday night to Thursday 28 Menachem Av for a missing 80-year-old man with Alzheimer’s. The man, a resident of France, was found seated on a boulder resting from exhaustion in the forest near Givat Massua in the capital. Volunteers included Zaka and the Israel Dog Unit.
The man was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. It appears he is visiting from France, staying on Costa Rica Street in the capital when he disappeared. He reportedly visits Israel often.
