Police officials when asked to comment on the activities of Ezer Mizion, called them “The true angels”, adding the department is pleased to do what it can to assist Ezer Mizion in its mission, this time, a visit to Yerushalayim and the Kosel for the many unable to do so on their own, disabled youths who are incapable of ambulating without assistance.

It has become an annual tradition, usually during the summer months, when Israel Police receives request from many NGOs wishing to visit the capital. The department does all it can to accommodate such requests.

On Sunday, 17 Menachem Av, children and youths visited the capital and the Kosel as part of their summer camp program. Buses, ambulances and Ezer Mizion vehicles were used in the operation, escorted by traffic unit police and then by police motorcycles from the entrance to the city to the Kosel.

Kosel police were standing by, waiting for the Ezer Mizion entourage to arrive. They were given permits to enter the Kosel Plaza and the summer camp mission was treated as a VIP event, nothing less.
