The Bronfman-Fisher group, which owns IKEA Israel, has just completed a legal battle and are planning to build the next IKEA branch in Beersheva on land which they purchased for NIS 42 million. This will be the company’s fourth branch in Israel following Rishon L’Tzion, Netanya and Kiryat Ata.
The High Court of Justice was involved as the land sale was challenged in judicial system working its way to the nation’s highest court.
The High Court ruling clears the path for moving ahead with construction of the newest IKEA branch.
