Firefighters early Wednesday morning 13 Menachem Av responded to a fire in the Netanya shuk.

Upon their arrival the fire was still active and heavy smoke conditions existed, with smoke bellowing into nearby apartments.

There was heavy damage to stores in the shul but B”H firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading.
