Tragedy struck on the first day of bein hazmanim in Eretz Yisrael as a 17-year-old bochur collapsed while riding his bicycle on Monday evening 11 Menachem Av.
Hatzalah arrived on the scene and the victim was found in cardiac arrest. They delivered two shocks from their defibrillator prior to the arrival of paramedics. The victim was transported by paramedics to Schneider Children’s Hospital in Petach Tikvah where he was pronounced dead.
The levaya of David Chaim Eliyahu was held at 12:30AM in the Segulah Cemetery in Petach Tikvah.
