Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has a 30-point lead over Donald Trump in their home state of New York, according to a new poll.
The Siena College survey released Monday shows Clinton beating the Republican nominee 57 to 27 percent.
The poll also gave Clinton a 25 percentage point advantage over Trump when the Green and Libertarian party candidates were included.
“Despite Trump’s claims to carry New York, the Empire State seems firmly planted on the blue side of the map,” said Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg. “New Yorkers have voted Democratic in the last seven presidential elections and there does not appear to be a real threat to end that streak.”
While 60 percent of respondents answered “no” when asked if Clinton is honest and trustworthy, they still rated her as more trustworthy than Trump.
They also said Clinton is more qualified to be president and more likely to be effective in dealing with Congress.
The telephone survey from last Sunday through Monday included 717 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 4.3 percentage points.

Absolute lies! Wait a minute.. I’ll prove it.
1. How is it that Clinton has less than 80 people on average when speaking, compared to at least 10 Thousand people on average for Trump, how can she lead in a poll? (She did have almost a thousand people(kids) about 10 days ago, when people realized that it was in a public school auditorium and the principal had asked all the teachers and students to report! – They were asked to come in -mid-summer- to ‘re-registrate’ then were diverted to the speech.)
2. There are many polling (Android and IOS) apps where people are guaranteed that the vote is anonymous. On those apps Trump LEADS by 70%.
3. The pollsters are bought and paid for by the Soros/dnc and the results are a forgone conclusion.
It is very easy to skew a poll. Imagine a poll on Hashkofo Satmar versus Litvish. If you ‘poll’ people in Lakewood you get ‘slightly’ different results than Williamsburg!
4. This is but one guy that did some research:

New York is a cesspool full of left wing looney liberals. Warren Wilhelm, Jr. the nutty left wing Socialist Mayor of New York was so embarrassed by his real name he changed it to Bill de Blasio. I guess you didn’t know that. Look it up. It’s true.
A large lead for Clinton would have several effects, including freeing up those of her “supporters” who can’t stand her but see her as the less of two evils, upon realizing there is no danger of Trump winning, to switch to voting for Johnson or Stein. Given that there are two “third” parties polling over 1% nationally (last time that happened was 1948, the time before that was 1860), and that both major party candidates are not especially popular within their own parties (that’s never happened before), only a fool would assume that today’s polls will reflect what the results will be in November.
I guess we’ll see after the votes are counted, then some of you may have to rethink your positions and more importantly, your way of thinking regarding polls.
I was first about to say that its hard to believe there are 27 percent of New Yorkers who are dumb enough to vote for this clown but then I read the above posts including, inter alia, suggestions that the WSJ and Fox News sponsored polls are under the indirect control of George Soros and another post linking to a website advocating a global financial meltdown on September 30th (convert all your savings to GOLD!!!) and advertising doomsday food supplies with good chassideshe hashgacha. Enough said.
To commenter no. 2: I looked it up. He changed his name because his father, Warren Wilhelm, abandoned his family when the future mayor was 7 and he was raised by his mother (maiden name deBlasio) and her parents. Where did you get the notion that he was “embarrassed”? The mayor’s childhood story sounds heartbreaking, but you, for some reason, need to warp it into a story of nonsense.
To commenter no. 1: You evidently do not believe polls. I would be curious to know your expectations of the outcomes of the previous 2 presidential elections.
