Barzilai Hospital spokesperson Ayelet Kedar reports on Monday, 11 Menachem Av, the condition of hunger-striking Palestinian prisoner Bilal Keyed continues to deteriorate, adding a protest by supporters is likely in response.

Police have stepped up their presence in and out of the hospital as a protest is scheduled to begin at 18:00 today near the western gate outside the hospital facility. As such, security officials announced the gate will be shut in advance and all traffic outside the hospital will be directed to the eastern gate.
