The ‘Keren HaKirya’ project which includes four high rise buildings in Tel Aviv has been given the green light by the Tel Aviv District Planning Committee. The location of the ambitious project is the northeast corner of the Defense Ministry Headquarters known as the Kirya.
The plan includes an 80 and 50-story office building as well as a 45-story residential building at the corner of Shaul HaMelech Boulevard and Menachem Begin Street. The project is the result of cooperation between Tel Aviv City Hall and the Israel Land Authority. There will be a total of 750 apartments and 149,000 square meters of office space in addition to 23,000 square meters of commercial space.
The project is designed by architect Yitzhak Halfon and it also includes a pedestrian bridge to the neighboring area and as well as access to public transportation.
