New British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson said Britain remains firmy committed to combating anti-Semitism in the country and across the world, working with international partners.
The former Mayor of London, who was appointed last month by Prime Minister Theresa May, was responding to a letter of congratulations sent to him by Rabbi Menachem Margolin, General Director of the European Jewish Association (EJA), an umbrella group of Jewish organisations active on European level.
“We value the active and expert role played by civil society organisations such as the European Jewish Association in this and we look forward to work actively with you and your colleagues,” Johnson wrote in the letter.
