MK Uri Maklev posed a query to the Transportation Ministry pertaining to daily bus tickets. Some cities, including Tel Aviv offer a one-day travel pass. One pays a flat rate and is permitted to ride as many buses as one wishes during that day.

Maklev points out that Friday is a short day as is motzei Shabbos and he feels a Friday travel pass should be honored on motzei Shabbos as well.

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz responded “The ministry will weigh the proposal to permit a weekend travel pass that is good on both Friday and motzei Shabbos.
