A new police station was opened in Maale Adumim in a ceremonious event held on Monday, 4 Menachem Av, in the presence of Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan and Police Commissioner Roni Alsheich. Also present was Shai (Shomron-Yehuda) district commander Deputy Commissioner Moshe Barkat, other police officials and Maale Adumim Mayor Benny Kashriel.

Mayor Kashriel thanked Minister Erdan and Commissioner Alsheich, promising to assist police in any way possible, has City Hall has always done in the past.

Maale Adumim, located over the so-called Green Line, continues to grow, registering 40,693 residents in 2015.
