According to a Walla News report, a major building initiative in the capital includes the construction of 2,000 apartments over the Green Line, in the area between Gilo and the Tunnel Highway. This will be the home of the new Jerusalem neighborhood of Mitcham Eitzei HaZayit” (“מתחם עצי הזית”) and it will encompass 280 dunams (70 acres), most in private land.
Land developer Nechemia Davidi reportedly is spearheading the project, with Walla reporting he has been pushing the project for the past eight years. Architect David Guggenheim has been hired to prepare the plan for the new neighborhood and he has already met several times with senior city officials.
Planning board head Meir Turgeman is quoted telling Walla that as soon as the finalized plans are submitted it should be approved.

Nothing to get overly excited about until people will actually be living there, because such plans have already been promised plenty of times only to be broken as per command of the big boss in America.
I assume the area is in the Yesha which the world claims to be for the Arabs. Well, build the apartments ASAP and many more !!!
I believe, the Almighty, has caused such “chaos” in the world i.e. US presidential race, ISIS, etc., that the US government will be overwhelmed by other world events to “protest” the construction—I could be wrong, NOT sure.
Suggest all Jews do more Talmud Torah–it will benefit themselves, Eretz Yisrael and hopefully the memory of my mother and father.
A goy,

Just as provocative as going onto har habayis. When will we learn not to build over the green line?.
