Baruch Rofeh Cholim: Terror victim Tzvika Cohen of Maale Adumim is discharged from Hadassah Hospital and is heading home to resume his life.
Maale Adumim resident Tzvika Cohen was seriously injured in a Friday night axe attack in Maale Adumim about six months ago. He recuperated in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and was in serious condition for a prolonged period of time. He remained in a coma for a number of weeks and doctors during that period were less than optimistic.
Family members explain the timing of his release will permit him to celebrate his 48th birthday at home, next week, with family at his side. Cohen did sustain neurological damage and doctors feared he would emerged paralyzed but he has a more stable gait at present and is advancing with each passing day, capable of ambulating on his own.
Unfortunately, this was not the first time Arab terror has struck the family as Tzvika’s older brother was also a victim of Arab terror as well, stabbed numerous times by a terrorist who entered his cab in 2000.
