Workers at Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv have announced they will be going out on strike on Friday, Rosh Chodesh Menachem Av because the treasury wishes to collect royalties in the amount of NIS 2 billion.
The strike will begin on Erev Shabbos and continue until Motzei Shabbos, resulting in less Chilul Shabbos at the airport this week.
The strike will impact over one hundred flights and 16,000 passengers, once again, resulting in less Chilul Shabbos for this coming Shabbos.
