A vehicle exploded close to 8:30AM Wednesday morning 21 Tammuz on Keren HaYesod Street in Yerushalayim. Ichud Hatzalah units on the scene reported one person sustained moderate injuries in what was immediately believed to be a terror attack.
It was later reported that a 57-year-old male was the target in what was a criminal act, not an act of terror. The explosion occurred at the intersection of Avraham Mapo and Keren HaYesod Street, not far from Liberty Bell Park.
Magen David Adom reports the man was in moderate condition, conscious and alert when transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
A police spokesman added an explosive device was apparently attached to the car that blew up.

Looks like this was just a warning not a serious attempt to kill whoever was the target.
