Police are finalizing preparations for the Yahrzeit of the Ohr HaChaim HaKodosh which falls out on 15 Tammuz (Wednesday night and Thursday).

Many police personnel are expected to play a role in providing protection for the thousands expected to make their way to the tziyun on Har HaZeisim beginning on Wednesday night.

Derech Yericho from Ras el-Amud to Gat Schmanim will be closed to vehicular traffic during the yahrzeit.
