B’chasdei Hashem, with the help of Yad L’Achim, a Jewish woman who was living a Muslim life in Kfar Kara in northern Israel has fled together with her baby and he had a bris, now called Elior (HKBH is my light).

The wife, ‘J’, is thirty-years-old and while growing up chareidi, she explained the abuse she suffered in her home pushed her in a different direction and in her twenties, she met an Arab man. The man worked in her area, and they had a romance and got married. They had three girls, all of course growing up Muslim.

Enduring the abusive life that R”L so many Jewish women experience daily in a similar situation, she continued but two years ago it became too much and she took the girls and fled for a battered women’s shelter. Her husband however promised to change and persuaded her to return.

As the violence continued she made contact with Yad L’Achim, already desperate to flee her captivity. The time and date were set and the mission set into place and she was taken into Yad L’Achim custody and hidden from the abusive Arab husband. She gave birth to a son ten days ago and B”H he had a bris.
