Mr. & Mrs. Amichai and Rina Ariel on Tuesday morning 6 Tammuz were accompanied by friends and family, visiting Har Habayis in memory of their daughter, 13-year-old Hallel Yafeh HY”D. Hallel was murdered by an Arab terrorist in her bedroom in the family’s Kiryat Arba home.
Last week, Mrs. Ariel sent a letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu asking his approval for the visit, explaining she and others follow rabbonim who permit visiting in adherence to halacha and this would be an important event for them in memory of their daughter.
While the group was given the go-ahead under heavy police protection, conspicuously absent was Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel, a cousin, because of the ban against ministers visiting the holy site imposed by the Prime Minister. He was there however to greet participants before they went on to the site.
Gedolei Yisrael over the generations and the Chief Rabbinate of Israel prohibit visiting Har Habayis.

No offense but which great zchus was accomplished y don’t we decide to visit the zoo as an Aliya’s neshomo
Y post such nonsense is there a godol who suggests this as some great merit for the deceased
Taking a break. What do you care about Godol, because I’m sure who ever posts any names, you would say that person is not a Godol. If you hold not to go to Har Habais, don’t, if you don’t follow Boro Park eruv, don’t, but stop telling others they are wrong because they are not doing the same thing you are. They have their Daas Torah, and I’m sure you have yours. So just as you don’t want them to tell you what to do, they would probably don’t need your opinion neither. But don’t predend you are so smart and such tzadik, because you don’t the heshbon of Ribono Shel Olam, and concentrate on your mitzvas.
