A Jewish couple was found R”L murdered and dismembered in the Casablanca home last Sunday, 27 Sivan. Mr. Sam Tolédano and Vicky Chetrit were murdered by their gardener police report, adding he has admitted to the double murder which is linked to his financial difficulties.

Facing eviction from his home, the gardener, M.R., murdered and dismembered the couple, whose limbs were found in different areas, hoping to then steal their money and jewelry.

Police received a report they were missing on Wednesday and began a search. Using UV lighting, blood was discovered in the home as well as signs the assailant tried to wipe the blood away.

While Moroccan authorities report the deaths as murders, there remains the question of why the bodies were dismembered and scattered in areas of the city. The Jewish community insists that due to the couple’s high profile in the Jewish community, they are pressuring police to look for additional motives in the case.
