New York City’s Department of Investigations is launching an ad campaign encouraging New Yorkers to report crimes involving bribery and corruption.
Posters that read “Bribery & Corruption Are a Trap. Don’t Get Caught Up. Report It” went up on buses this week. The campaign will be expanded to subways stations and cars in the coming weeks.
DOI Commissioner Mark Peters says corruption and bribery impede progress and diminish the public’s faith in government. He says New Yorkers are part of the solution in reducing such crimes.
