Oren Family Continues Protests In An Effort To Have Son’s Body Returned By Hamas

1The family of IDF Sgt. Oren Shaul HY”D continues efforts to bring the plight of their son and Lt. Hadar Goldin HY”D to the head of the national agenda.

Shaul and Goldin were killed almost two years ago during fighting in Operation Protective Edge in Gaza, and their bodies were snatched by Hamas terrorists. The Shaul family turned to the nation when the news broke of the imminent reconciliation deal between Israel and Turkey, a deal that omitted the return of the bodies by Hamas in Gaza.

Dr. Shaul explained to the media that while Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu during the past two years promised the return of the bodies is a “national priority”, he now knows that in reality, this is not so.

The families will be holding another protest on Wednesday, 1 Rosh Chodesh Tammuz outside Megiddo Prison in an effort to block the families of imprisoned terrorists from visiting their loved ones.

  1. Netanyahu has promised that there will be no more deals like the Shalit deal where a thousand terrorists were released from jail to kill again, as they have. Its sad that these families don’t have closure but the national security needs of the medinah must take priority over the emotions of individual families.

  2. Netanyahu has promised himself to do what it takes to remain popular. Contrary to popular belief, the Israeli public couldn’t really care less about these families, as long as Bibi keeps telling them he’s doing what be can without jeopardizing national security. If it’s not gonna help Bibi’s numbers, these families can go jump, for all be cares.
