Shuki Gilboa was one of the Kiryat Arba first-response unit members to respond to the terrorist stabbing attack that claimed the life of Hallel Yafeh Ariel HY”D. In actuality, he was among the first to enter the home and engage the terrorist, who was shot dead, however not before sustaining a very serious injury to his right eye.
It is now reported that despite their best efforts, doctors were unable to save the sight in that eye, to which Shuki and his wife Shlumit responded “HaKol L’Tova”.
The couple is strong and their bitachon in HKBH maintains them as they explain they are grateful the outcome was not worse and they are confident Shuki will learn to live with his new reality.
