Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on erev Shabbos, 25 Sivan, paid a condolence call on the family of the late Hallel Yaffa Ariel, at the family home, along with Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Minister Uri Ariel. The Prime Minister spoke with the parents and other family members and said: “We strengthen this place. Apart from the fighting, we will make it stronger. I will sit with the Defense Minister and we will decide how to strengthen the community.”
At the conclusion of the visit, Prime Minister Netanyahu said:
“To see Hallel’s room, to see the blood stains next to her bed and the books and clothes of a small child, this is shocking. It reminds us again who we are facing. They want to uproot what has been planted and we will deepen the roots. They will not make us leave here. I was impressed by this splendid family. Their spirit will not break and neither will ours. We will deepen the roots.”
Minister Ariel said, “I thank the Prime Minister for coming here to console the mourners, the Ariel gamily in Kiryat Arba. The parents are determined to continue to build and be built here in the area along with the Prime Minister who will decide what needs to be done vis-à-vis security and regarding the community. We are continuing on the Jewish People’s long journey. Together we will win.”

Maybe maried people of childbearing age should not live in war zone? Children losing parents or brothers/ sisters lo aleinu!! Yshuv haaretz if it’s a must then e should be done by single midle age people.maybe old couples. … so that you don’t order for little childred to go thri this loss lo aleilu vlo aleichem
#1 you shouldn’t just comment on a group of thousands of people, without first understanding their way of thinking. While the mainstream השקפה is that we’re at the end of גלות, and even if ישוב ארץ ישראל is a מצוה, it’s not at the price of פיקוח נפש. The מזרכי שיטה is, we have entered the phase of גאולה and we have a מצוה (even child-bearing aged people) to wage a War to take back ארץ ישראל. The essence of a מלחמת מצוה is obviously at the expense of Life.
Bargain… Maybe we Jewish people should feel no judgement towards our suffering brothers and sisters regardless of our opinions of their supposed ” mistakes.” Jewish blood is still fresh how can any message other than sadness and mourning leave your lips?
#1=please stop blinding us with your dazzling brilliance!
@1, what a heartless comment! Maybe commend these people for the extreme commitment that they have for their ideals. I am in awe of such people! These people are willing to do something that most of us don’t have the guts to do. To settle the unsettled parts of E”Y, and in turn avoid it from being settled by wild beasts. Weather you agree with them or not, at least commend them for their dedication to such a great mitzva. כל הכבוד ל
Since Hallel HY’D was a USA Citizen:- Why hasn’t Obama instructed the USA Ambassador to Israel to pay a Shiva visit.
Bargain, you are very simplistic. Tragedy can happen anywhere, not a specific location. Our people are heroes living where they do. They can use support not criticism. Age does not make pain and loss any less.
Maybe we stop fighting. I think that the little neshamalah will be much happier when we don’t fight about her
Bargain #1 First of all, the entire land of Israel is in a war zone. Have you already forgotten how many were killed in Yerushalayim, Tel Aviv and other big cities (as well as other major cities around the world)?
Second, you’re saying little children should not live in a war zone which should be only for single middle-aged and elderly people. Why? Are they chayev missah?
#1, it sounds like you couldn’t care less about the elderly. Sort of reminds me how the Nazis chose their victims, the elderly were the first to perish. Sorry to inform you that your idea is nothing less than evil. All lives matter and to imply that older people are less worthy to live is simply against our values and the Torah.
For those of you who feel the Marcs and other settlers live on the wrong side of the tracks – Here’s an idea – how about we just keep retreating and making land concessions until all of us in E”Y live in one neighborhood , like Sanhedria? Oh, wait – Sanhedria’s over the geeen line.
