These photos were taken on Friday afternoon in Monticello near Walmart. An Orthodox Jewish driver saw a vehicle driven by a local resident of Sullivan County broken down, and immediately stopped, and assisted the man with a boost.

Wow! What a “HUGE” Kidush Hashem. Rabbosai, everyone monitors the behavior of us Yidden, and especially in the mountains. It is so-so important to only perform Kiddush Hashems and to be friendly to the local neighbors- (The Mashgiach)
Wow! This is amazing!! A few weeks ago I saw a frum yid hold the door open for someone at a pizza shop, and also said, “Have a nice day!”. It was amazing, baruch hashem.
M I love the sarcasm. JUST SAYING!!!!!
It’s such a Nice Thing to do, but for Heaven’s sake this isn’t the Biggest קידוש ה׳. When a Jewish Woman dresses with צניעות, or a Jewish man is careful what he looks at that’s 1000x bigger קידוש ה׳. And if that sounds surprising to you, start learning the words of חז״ל!
Why do I care?
In all seriousness, something which #2 seems to be missing, we need to go lifnim mishuras hadin with the local yokels in the “country” as they feel we’re invading their turf. L’maysa is we stick to ourselves for good reason but this is something they don’t get.
Perhaps they don’t get that their July 4th festivities and other extras are sponsored by our camps that donate money every yea!
Helping someone is lifnim mi-shuras ha-din?
