We frequently see these photo essays here of Rav A visiting Rav B. The format almost always seems the same with a bunch of gabboim and and avreichim from Rav’s A entourage either seated at the table or standing behind him and the same for Rav B. Has anyone been fortunate to attend one of these meetings and know what is typically said or what types of discussions are typical for such meetings. Are they scripted in advance, are there subjects agreed upon for discussion or are they as they appear, social type visits where the discussions are focused on mundane subjects such as politics, financial needs of their mosdos, etc.
Does the Satmar Rebbe of Kiryas “J”oel live in Kiryat “Y”oel? If yes it’s amazing, the names rhyme.
Generally these meetings are political, Rav A meeting Rav B cause their followers think its a good thing to meet. The 2 rabbonim gerally talk pure BS with each other. Everybody smiles and everybody is happy. Big deal.
